About
Dr. L Vergari is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nuclear, Plasma, and Radiological Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Vergari has expertise in molten salt chemistry, graphite science, and multi-physics and has lead or collaborated in projects involving electrochemistry, corrosion, mass transport, material characterization, material testing, data science, and reduced order modeling. Dr. Vergari is a member of the ASME Task Group on Graphite Issues in MSRs, a member of the ANS 20.2 Standard Group, and a licensed Professional Engineer in Italy.
